Summer Vacation 2013

We traveled to Santa Rosa Beach, FL to spend a fabulous week on the beach.  My sister and her family, along with my mom, went with us.  Here are a few pictures:

Sharing snacks on the beach.

Glow Sticks are a lot of fun!

Can't swim with these flags flying!

Celebrating Grammy's birthday!

Ethan (PreK-3)

Here is a comparison of Ethan the 1st day and last day of PreK-3 at St. Boniface.  His teacher was Mrs. Gramlich and we all LOVE her!

It's not such a great place to take a picture in the morning in May (too sunny).  I'll have to pick a new spot for school pictures.

Turning the Big ONE!

We celebrated Clara's 1st Birthday with a party at home - All things PINK!

One Year Stats:
20 lbs.
29 inches
Gets everywhere she wants to via the army crawl or all fours.  She can cruise along the furniture, but has not attempted to walk on her own.
Thinks Ethan is hilarious.
Will eat anything you put in front of her.
Food on your plate better be something she can eat, because she is sure going to try.

8, 9, 10, 11,....

8 Months - Trying to eat the sticker.

9 Months - I'll just hold it.

10 Months - Forget the sticker!

11 Months - Yay, mommy got a picture before I demolished the sticker!

Seven Months

Clara is such a happy baby - lots of smiles and giggles.  She thinks her brother is hilarious and he enjoys her too (most of the time).  EVERYTHING goes in her mouth and she is pretty talented at rolling her tongue.

Six Months

This month pictures took some effort to achieve.  Clara was too "busy" to participate.

Stats:  16 lbs, 1 oz. and 25 1/2 in. long

Clara is smiley and drooly!  She loves her feet and taking off her socks.  She also has a great "growl"!  (I'm trying to catch it on video to share.)  Everything goes to her mouth and if she wants something, she will find a way to get to it (usually rolling).

Halloween Festivities

This may be the last year I can have a major influence on what Ethan wants to be for Halloween.  Thanks to Aunt Leslie's birthday gift of a dinosaur tail, it was pretty easy to encourage him in that direction.

Ethan (the dinosaur) and Clara (Pebbles).

Ethan's story book pumpkin for school.  He was asked to decorate a pumpkin based on a book.  This is "The Little Engine That Could".

Saw this picture taken by a few people on Facebook and Pinterest, so I decided to try it.  Clara was not a fan!!!
