Seven Months

Clara is such a happy baby - lots of smiles and giggles.  She thinks her brother is hilarious and he enjoys her too (most of the time).  EVERYTHING goes in her mouth and she is pretty talented at rolling her tongue.

Six Months

This month pictures took some effort to achieve.  Clara was too "busy" to participate.

Stats:  16 lbs, 1 oz. and 25 1/2 in. long

Clara is smiley and drooly!  She loves her feet and taking off her socks.  She also has a great "growl"!  (I'm trying to catch it on video to share.)  Everything goes to her mouth and if she wants something, she will find a way to get to it (usually rolling).

Halloween Festivities

This may be the last year I can have a major influence on what Ethan wants to be for Halloween.  Thanks to Aunt Leslie's birthday gift of a dinosaur tail, it was pretty easy to encourage him in that direction.

Ethan (the dinosaur) and Clara (Pebbles).

Ethan's story book pumpkin for school.  He was asked to decorate a pumpkin based on a book.  This is "The Little Engine That Could".

Saw this picture taken by a few people on Facebook and Pinterest, so I decided to try it.  Clara was not a fan!!!

Razorback Fans

I realize it has not been a pretty season thus far for the Razorbacks, but we still LOVE them!

This picture took about 25 shots!

She kept chewing on the tutu...it was evidently very tasty!

Four Months

Stats:  15 lbs., 24 1/4 in. long

Clara Jane is a funny girl.  She is smiley and giggly, and she is fasinated with her brother!  She likes her hands (puts them her mouth, stares at them, etc.). She can roll over from back to front, if no one is watching.   Harry Hippo is a favorite traveling companion.  She has even figured out how to pull him down and make him shake!

Turning 4

Ethan's 4th Birthday was a train theme.  Here are a few pictures...

 Drinks
 Train Cookies
 Cake Pops
 Railroad Sign Cookies
Railroad Track leading to the bathroom.

 The "train".

Blowing out the candles!
A meeting of the minds???  They were all trying to open a present.
The gift that stole the show - the dinosaur tail.
 Thanks Aunt Leslie!

How did we make it this long???

Ethan (six days short of his 4th birthday) has his first ear infection!  Both ears to be exact!
Look at that sad little face...poor baby!

Surprise......Arts and Crafts

Aunt Leslie sent Ethan a box from Kiwi Crate (http://www.kiwicrate.com/).  The theme for this particular box was Safari related.  There were animals to punch out and stamp designs on and a build your own jeep.

The projects were easy and fun.  Ethan did all the work while following my directions (with the exception of attaching the wheels).

The jeep had to "sleep" with Ethan.  I hope it is in one piece in the morning!

First Day of Preschool

Ethan started Preschool today.  Where does the time go?  While sitting at a stop sign this morning, I glanced back and realized he isn't a baby anymore.  He looked so BIG!

Breakfast:  Pancakes and Milk courtesy of daddy.  (That hair!)

All dressed for school.  Check out those bright blue shoes!

The Rocket Ship backpack.

A picture with mommy.  (Look no tears!)

And one with daddy.

I dropped him off this morning on my way to my first day of school this year.  He gave me a kiss, went into his classroom, put his backpack away and left me at the door.  I'm not sure he even knew I left the room.  I managed to hold on to my tears until I got out of the building and had myself pulled back together before I got to school.  What is the first day of kindergarten going to be like?

Jason and I picked him up from school.  He was excited to see us, but still wanted to keep playing on the playground.  He didn't say much in the car on the way home (I thought he was going to fall asleep).  It must have been a successful day, because he wants to go back tomorrow!

Brotherly Love

I wouldn't say Ethan is thrilled about having a little sister, but he is at least not asking us to take her back.  He doesn't like to hear her cry (he covers his ears).  The last few weeks he has been more curious (maybe because she doesn't sleep all the time).

Grammy bought him a magnifying glass because he was fasinated with one at pre-school open house.  Here he is checking out baby Clara.

And another one.

Coloring beside her on the floor.

I had to include this picture.  He is sitting in the bumbo.  It was hilarious watching him try to remove himself from it!

Two Months

Stats:  12 lbs. 8 oz., 23 1/2 inches

I promise she can smile, I just can't manage to catch it on camera!

Beach Vacation

Vacation with the family in Florida.  Ethan is very anti-pictures right now, especially if it wasn't his idea.  So you won't find a picture of all 9 of us until we get the professional pictures back...if there is a good one.
Clara ready for the beach!

Ethan ready to go!

Wills, Ethan and Clara showing off their 4th of July attire.  I have about 10 of these pictures and there isn't one where all three of them are smiling.

Playing in the sand.

"Surfing" - according to Ethan.

Mom thought we needed to take this picture since all of our swimsuits color coordinated.

The Te Family

Clara sitting in the sand....she wasn't thrilled about it.

This is what she did most of the time!

Ethan and his goggles.
