Vacation

We flew to Florida!
Airport entertainment...the car at DFW and the castle at XNA.  Of course we had to be delayed.  That seems to be a normal occurrence when flying in or out of DFW.

Ethan on the airplane....he LOVED it!

View from our balcony!

The three "Nemos" were part of the decor.
Ethan drug them all over the condo and slept with all of them.

Enjoying the beach!

We rented bikes.  They have an 18 mile bike path that runs down 30A.  Ethan loved to "Bi-cycle", so much that he even napped one day.  (Yes, that is a pink helmet!  The bikes were delivered to our condo while we were on the beach.  Ethan didn't mind.)

A park outside of Alys Beach had this random hill and a path that wrapped around it.

Ethan at the top yelling "Super" as in Superman!

Busy April....

Heritage Days petting zoo! Ethan feed the goats and a camel.

Checking out the goodies from an Easter egg hunt.

Coloring eggs at Grammy's house.

Riding a camel with daddy at the Passover Celebration!

Looking handsome for Easter!

Ethan and Mason using Nathan as a horse. It was hilarious!

Spring Break - Zoo Visit

We went to visit Jason's parents in ElDorado, KS. They took us all to the zoo in Wichita. Ethan started in the stroller, but immediately decided he was faster on his feet than I was pushing. I'm not sure he stopped running for the first hour.

Petting zoo.

Straight out of the Lion King...we walked up and this lion climbs up on his rock and roars. Everytime we talk about the zoo, Ethan roars!!

Pretty tiger!

The bronze statues were just as exciting as the real deal...and you could touch them.

This hippo game right up the glass. Ethan tried to give him a kiss!

More Snow...

Here are some pictures from the big snow we had last week....yes, that was just last week. Today the high was in the 70s.

Check out all the snow in the front yard.

Ethan on the snow saucer!

Looks like Jason is doing all the work, walking Choxie and pulling Ethan. Note I say looks like...Choxie walks you...so technically she was doing all the work!

Ethan pulling the snow saucer. He is very independent sometimes.

Trying to catch snowflakes!

The snow angel!!

Cousins Rock!!

I know it's hard to believe, being January (or February), but January 29th the high around here was in the 70s. We took Ethan to the park and for a walk around the neighborhood in the wagon. But more importantly, he got to show off his new short sleeve t-shirt from Aunt Lou and Uncle Charles. "Cousins Rock" - because he is going to be the best cousin ever for Baby Te!!

Here is the first picture of Ethan's new cousin!!!

Snow Days.....

January 10th - School let out early and we played in the snow.
View from the front door.

Ethan riding in the wagon he got for Christmas!

Watching something...probably the neighborhood cat.

February 1st - Ice....yuck!
The sidewalk from the house to the street.

Ethan in his pjs (our attire for two days). Going to get the mail.

February 4th - School let out early for snow...again!
Snow Saucer from Grammy and Papa!

Pulling it himself.

That didn't last long...its much more fun for mommy to run around the yard pulling the saucer!

Wheee!!!

Eating the snow!

Halloween

I decided to make Ethan's Halloween costume this year; nothing seemed to be worth purchasing. So with some assistance from my sweet sister, we made a goldfish costume for Ethan. No, the idea was not mine, but I did make some additions.
